Additionally, legislative affairs serves as the communications link between ODM and the Ohio General Assembly, assists in coordinating internal agency collaborations, and ensures sustained, coordinated and consistent legislative outreach. The office is an educational and technical resource to individual General Assembly Members, their staff and stakeholders to assist in understanding the service and programs ODM provides. The office also tracks and assesses the impact of legislation affecting the department, and assists in solving constituent issues for legislative and government offices across the state.
